    Galentine's Day Charcuterie Board

    Feb 8, 2021 · 2 Comments

This is your one-stop-shop for a beautiful Galentine's Day charcuterie board! With my grocery guide and a few staple tips, you will impress all your girls and have a breathtaking charcuterie board.

I know the world of charcuterie boards is very intimidating. There is an endless amount of items that can include, from figs to brie, and everything in between. But girl, I got you! I have got this charcuterie thing down to a science and simplified the process so anyone can do it. And it will be absolutely stunning!

    1. Audience: You will need to account for how many people you will be serving and if they have any dietary restrictions. Whether it is 2 people or 20, you will need to know how many ingredients to get. If they have any dietary restrictions, like gluten-free or nut allergy, make sure to keep that in mind when purchasing ingredients and putting together your board.
    2. Supplies: Be sure to have all the supplies needed for preparing and serving your board. This will include a big enough board for all of your ingredients, cheese knives, and small bowls.
    3. Presentation: My top tip regarding presentation is to fill in the gaps! What makes a good charcuterie board even better is when the blank spaces are filled with small ingredients. My favorite things to fill gaps are nuts and berries. Cut all your cheese into different shapes and sizes to create more variety among the board. Also, fresh herbs can take the presentation of your charcuterie board to the next level! I love to add fresh rosemary as the very last step.
    4. Preparation: Being fully prepared will eliminate any stress or intimidation from making an incredible charcuterie. Go to the grocery store with my grocery list on hand and have that be your guide. If time permits, cut up some cheese and meats beforehand so you can put everything together right before your guests arrive.

The best part of making a charcuterie board is all the opportunity to be creative and make it your own. If there is something that you don't like, you don't have to include it. If there is something you love, add more! Have fun with it! Happy Galentine's day!
