Poisoned Pomegranate
A smoky and juicy cocktail featuring Mezcal and succulent pomegranate.

Ingredients
Edible Blood
- ½ cup light corn syrup
- 3 drops red gel food coloring
- 1 tablespoon cocoa powder
- 1 ½ tablespoons corn starch
Cocktail
- 2 ounces Mezcal
- 3 ounces pomegranate juice
- ½ ounce Cointreau
- 1 ounce fresh lime juice
- ½ ounce fresh orange juice
- ¼ ounce agave syrup
- 3 dashes Angostura bitters
Instructions
- In a small bowl, mix together all the edible blood ingredients until there are no lumps. If desired, add more cornstarch for a thicker consistency.
- Add all cocktail ingredients into a shaker with ice and shake.
- Put edible blood on the rim of the glass cup. Strain in the cocktail.
