You will need butter, sugar, eggs, vanilla, espresso powder, sour cream, milk, orange, flour, cocoa powder, salt, baking soda, cream, and semi-sweet chocolate.

In a large mixing bowl, cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.

In the bowl with the creamed butter, beat in the eggs & then add the vanilla extract and espresso powder & combine.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the sour cream, milk, and fresh orange juice.

In another large bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, salt, and baking soda.

Combine the butter mixture with the wet ingredient mixture. Then in the large bowl with the wet ingredients mixture, add in the dry ingredients.

Pour the batter into a lined loaf pan and bake for 40-45 minutes at 325F.

In a heatproof bowl, add your chopped chocolate and orange zest. Then carefully pour your warm cream over the chocolate in the bowl. Let it sit for a minute to slowly melt the chocolate and then stir until completely melted and glossy.

Let the cake cool for 10-30 minutes on a wire rack before pouring the ganache on top of the cake. Then slice and serve!
