Brioche Mascarpone French Toast

Brioche french toast topped with a creamy mascarpone whipped cream and sliced strawberries for the ultimate french toast recipe!

You will need brioche, eggs, milk, sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, clove, salt, heavy cream, mascarpone cheese, powdered sugar, strawberries, and maple syrup.

First, prepare the mascarpone whipped cream. Combine powdered sugar and heavy cream, then add mascarpone cheese. Refrigerate.

Cut your brioche bread into 1 - 1 1/4 inch thick slices.

Prepare the custard base. In a shallow bowl, combine eggs, milk, vanilla, sugar, salt, cinnamon, and clove. Set aside.

Heat a pan over low-medium heat and melt butter. Working with 2 slices at a time, soak for 2 minutes on each side, then drip off the excess and place in the pan. Cook for 3 minutes on each side until golden.
